Privacy Policy
CPR Health and Fitness processes and stores your personal information for certain legitimate business purposes, which include some or all of the following.
We will only collect the information that we require in order to provide you with the best service we can. Including assessment of your health and fitness, your current goals and preferences and how best to provide the service to help you meet those goals. This will include the asking for, recording and storage of information around your health and lifestyle and contact details. The information will be used to help us try to ensure your safety is met at all times.
Wherever we process data for these purposes we will ensure that we consider your personal data rights, hold them in the highest regards and take them into account during our decision making.
Your data is stored in a number of ways;
Online via Google Drive - Completion of PAR-Q, weekly check-in forms.
On paper - Consultation notes, informed consent documents.
Social media – If you send us a private message via social media the message will be stored on that platform only.
Email – When you contact us via email, we will retain your email and our response to it for future reference.
Text messages/whatsapp messages – all stored on a password protected phone.
Accident forms – If an accident has occurred an accident book will be filled in and a form will be stored in a locked filing cabinet.
Photos – Any photos I have stored of you or that I am using on my website or any social media sites will require your permission and you have the right to ask me to remove/delete these at any time.
CCTV – CCTV cameras are in operation at CPR Health and Fitness for safety purposes and these videos will only be watched back if necessary. You have the right to ask to see these videos at any point within the 30 days that they are kept for, after that they are overwritten.
All external service providers have been checked for privacy and data protection compliance. These records are part of password controlled apps/websites. All paper records are stored in a lockable filing cabinet.
Any information that is given to me either in writing or verbally by yourself will be treated as confidential. I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and I am aware of my responsibilities under the general data protection regulation (GDPR)
Your data will never be passed to a third party without your consent unless it is being shared with emergency services due to an incident that requires their attendance.
Your data will be held for 7 years in accordance with legal and insurance requirements.

You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe that we are not processing your information in accordance with the law or a request has not been dealt with appropriately.
